SORN

We buy SORN motorbikes

A bike on SORN cannot legally be ridden on the road, so selling it usually means a buyer with a van. That is us: we collect it from your garage, shed or storage unit and pay you on the day.

  • Any condition
  • Free van collection
  • No fees
  • Paid the same day

Free valuation, any condition

Takes a minute. No obligation at all.

Thanks. Tell us a bit more about its state so we can price it.

Why sell your SORN motorbike to us

  • No tax, no MOT, no problem

Leave it on SORN. We load it into the van, so it never needs to go on the road.

  • Stood for years

Flat tyres, seized brakes, stale fuel and a dead battery are expected on a bike that has been laid up.

  • Tell us what you know

When it last ran, why it was parked and how it has been stored all help us price it.

Laid-up bikes we often collect

  • Garaged sports bikes
  • Winter-stored tourers
  • Unfinished projects
  • Bikes parked after a fault
  • Learner bikes no longer used
  • Inherited motorcycles

Getting rid of your bike in 3 steps

  1. Describe the bike

Put in the reg and miles, or WhatsApp photos of the bike exactly as it is, damage included.

  2. Think about it

Our figure stays open for 7 days.

  3. We collect and pay

Name the day. We come to you anywhere in the UK and pay before leaving.

We buy SORN motorbikes: FAQs

Do I have to tax the bike so you can collect it?

No. A SORN bike can be collected and transported off the road without being taxed.

What do I tell the DVLA when it is sold?

You tell the DVLA you have sold it, online or using the V5C. The new keeper then becomes responsible for taxing it or keeping it on SORN.

Is a bike that has been stood for years still worth anything?

Usually. How much depends on the model, whether it is complete, and how it has been stored. Indoor, dry storage helps a lot.
